The Technology Warehouse Assistant will assist in receiving, preparing, warehousing, and shipping all equipment delivered to the technology warehouse. This position will help maintain an accurate inventory of received technology items, timely preparation of new technology, plus setup and delivery of new technology equipment within Spokane Public Schools. There will also be opportunities to assist other departments as needed with projects, incidents, and the transport of technology. Must be able to coordinate summer projects with other assigned staff and interns.

SALARY SCHEDULE

Help the Technology Warehouse Operations Specialist maintain an accurate inventory of district assets stored in the warehouse and recycling areas.Encourage users throughout the district to enter tickets or contact the Service Desk when required as well as escalate issues to other teams to ensure timely service.
Support the technology recycling center receiving surplus equipment, determining usability, salvaging, and storing parts as required. Prep equipment for transport to recycling facilities and deliver recycling going to local facilities. Preparation includes but is not limited to, updating the inventory system, palletizing equipment, and loading equipment onto the district delivery vehicle.
Package, ship, and transport equipment and large deliveries, as necessary.
Deliver and install new technology including mobile devices, computers, printers, scanners, and audio/visual equipment.
Operate various delivery vehicles, lift gates, pallet jacks etc. ensuring equipment is secured to prevent loss and damage in transit and during delivery. Report any issues with district vehicles in a timely manner.
Work with IT Leadership and teams to accomplish both large quantity, major seasonal projects, and multi-site equipment deployment goals. Collaborate on technology solutions with other employees in the technology department as well as other departments.
Work with hardware repair technicians in queuing up damaged devices for repair and returning repaired devices to service.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. This includes keeping aisles and fire exits in the ITSC Warehouse clear of equipment.
Other related duties as assigned.
