Job Description

Hiring Warehouse Associate With Pay Up To $21.24/hour
In Elgin, IL Responsibilities :
Package products by skid, crate, or box for shipment and complete routine shipping documentation. Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks according to company procedures. Operate sit-down forklifts and turret truck forklifts to move materials throughout the facility. Pick, stage, kit, repackage, and prepare materials for assembly and shipping. Move picked orders from storage racks to shipping areas. Update storage bin information and locate materials using SAP. Visually inspect incoming parts and move materials to receiving and staging areas. Safely remove and dispose of packaging materials including wood, plastic, metal, and other scrap materials. Transfer scrap bins to designated disposal areas and dumpsters. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to support warehouse and production operations. Complete routine inspections of material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles. Support logistics, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as needed.
Requirements :
Required Qualifications Previous sit-down or stand-up forklift experience. Comfortable working at heights while operating a very narrow aisle turret truck forklift. Ability to safely load and unload trucks. Willingness to work in a versatile warehouse role and perform duties beyond forklift operation. Comfortable working in an environment where paint and oil odors may be present. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe shoes.
