Job Title:
Warehouse Associate (Part-Time) Job Description This part-time Warehouse Associate role supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring products are received, handled, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You will work a consistent 5-hour shift either in the morning or afternoon and help maintain smooth internal processes for items manufactured in the facility, while upholding safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities Receive incoming products from outside vendors, unload shipments safely, and verify part numbers and quantities against documentation. Label packaging accurately for in-house coating, ensuring all items are properly identified and traceable. Pack semi-finished products for shipment to the coating facility, using appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage. Receive returned goods, inspect them, and return them to finished product inventory following established procedures. Double-check orders and pack deliveries that require manual processing, ensuring accuracy for shipments that cannot be handled automatically. Prepare and ship orders using manual shipping processes when automated systems are not applicable. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by regularly tidying work areas and disposing of waste properly. Operate and care for warehouse equipment responsibly, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly. Follow all operational procedures, rules, and schedules to support efficient and timely warehouse operations. Collaborate with team members and assist with specific tasks as needed to meet daily workload and deadlines. Handle all merchandise, tools, and equipment with care and attention to prevent damage and ensure longevity. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or similar environment. Proficiency in packing and picking orders accurately and efficiently. Hands-on experience with inventory control and warehouse inventory processes. Ability to perform loading and unloading of products safely and effectively. Knowledge of basic shipping and receiving procedures. Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, and labels. Ability to follow established procedures, rules, and schedules consistently. Capability to maintain a clean and organized work area. Team-oriented mindset with the willingness to assist colleagues with tasks. Reliability and punctuality for a consistent 5-hour morning or afternoon shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production-related warehouse environment. Familiarity with manual shipping processes and handling orders that cannot be processed automatically. Comfort working with semi-finished and finished goods, including returns and re-stocking procedures. Ability to learn and follow internal company processes for items manufactured in the facility. You will use typical warehouse tools and equipment and are expected to keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. The environment follows established operational procedures and schedules, creating a structured setting where adherence to process and care for equipment and merchandise are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
