Job Title:
Warehouse Operator Job Description The Warehouse Operator is responsible for handling the movement of products within the facility. This includes preparing products for delivery to customers and organizing received freight. This position requires a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all tasks. Responsibilities Identify freight on pallets and sort them correctly by manifest or customer order. Review freight for accuracy and verify shipment counts. Locate any missing freight. Load and unload freight efficiently. Complete manifest paperwork for each piece or pallet of freight. Document exceptions on products and take pictures as necessary. Conduct daily inventory of trailers in the yard. Assist in pre-loading bob-tail trucks. Maintain forklifts, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any equipment issues. Follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Maintain general warehouse cleanliness. Perform all other duties and projects as assigned by management. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. Six months of related warehouse experience. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Effective oral and written communication skills.Basic math skills:
add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of American money and weight measurement. Hazardous Material certification. Forklift certification if operating a forklift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understanding of SHE&S (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) protocols. Strong time management and punctuality. Ability to work collaboratively as a team player. Conflict management and interpersonal skills. Professionalism and personal accountability. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
