Job Title:
Warehouse Worker Job Description This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations by handling inventory, operating forklifts, performing shipping and receiving tasks, and completing accurate data entry. The position requires a reliable and safety-conscious individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and contribute to smooth warehouse workflows. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of quantities and product descriptions. Prepare, package, and stage outgoing orders for shipment according to established procedures. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials. Use RF scanners to pick, track, and verify inventory and orders. Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Update inventory records and shipment information using computer-based data entry systems. Organize and maintain warehouse areas to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report findings promptly. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while handling equipment and materials. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve inventory or shipping discrepancies. Essential Skills Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment. Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Knowledge of inventory handling, shipping, and receiving processes. Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking. Basic computer skills with the ability to perform accurate data entry. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required in a warehouse setting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred. Previous experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software is an asset. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
