Job Overview:
Warehouse Associate will also navigate multiple warehouses using forklifts to pull and prepare products for shipping and transport finished goods to the appropriate warehouse locations. This role is responsible for putting away receiving items, wrapping pallets, cycle counting, and logging inventory movements utilizing RF Scanner.
- This position is for our C-Shift, which is 7:00 a.
m. - 7:30 p.m. on a rotating schedule (2-2-3)
Knowledge/Skills:
- This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, packing slips, bill of lading and pick tickets; basic computer user skills; basic math and communications skills; and forklift and associated safety skills.
- Must be comfortable using a sit-down and stand-up forklift.
- This position requires the employee to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift or move up to fifty pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and have the ability to be flexible in schedule as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation
- Good physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong work ethic and reliability

Responsibilities:
- Utilizes forklift to load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, and to physically transfer inventory to and from bin and floor locations.
- Utilizes pallet wrapper
- Signs for and verify incoming shipments to purchase order, as needed.
- Inspects for damage to incoming shipments, and initiates quarantine action as required, as needed
- Performs regular inventory counts and update records to maintain accurate inventory counts and update records to maintain accurate stock levels with physical inventory. (Cycle Counting)
- Maintains accurate records of inventory movements using scanners to read bar codes on products.
- View prompts on screens and follow directions.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities.

Policies, Procedures, SOP's, Work Instructions as they apply to the job classification or specifically assigned job and complete as directed all required training related to these standards.
- Follows safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment by regularly cleaning and organizing storage areas. Keep the work area clean of debris.
