Job Summary
Position Summary

Our Quick Coupling Division is looking for a Material Handler to support assembly and machining operations through receiving, storing, staging, and moving raw materials, subassemblies, and finished parts to support. This role ensures timely, accurate supply of components to production, maintains inventory accuracy, performs basic quality checks, and follows safety and handling procedures.

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our plants provide critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Data Centers.

Responsibilities

Receive (physically and electronically) material and product

Shipping of parts and raw stock to vendors and other facilities

Data entry/generate reports and documents

Routine maintenance of department equipment

Load and unload trucks

Make labels

Deliver to WIP, finished goods and raw materials to designated areas

Spot Inventory/Weight counting

Pick product for shipping from carousel system/push back racks

Product traceability

Prepare shipping documents

Receiving and stocking of product

Knowledge of shipping documents

Receive product on Main Frame

Troubleshoot receiving problems

Receive UPS and raw stock

Collect and safely store non-conforming material

Cut-up scrap and prepare for disposal

Daily check steel storage system

Complete understanding of Raw Stock Program

Cut Work Orders and WIP release jobs

Load and unloading of pallet truck

Certified lift truck operator

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift and move average weight material (1-50 lbs)

Occasional lifting of over 50 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Good verbal and written communication skills

Must have excellent computer skills.

Must understand how to correctly complete shipping and WIP spanet documentation.

Ability to read and understand part numbers. This includes how to read location numbers.

Can work both independently and as part of a team.

Detail oriented. Demonstrate good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods or practices.

Able to count accurately. Work at 95
