Job Title:
General Laborer Job Description As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for loading correct materials onto the production line in the correct sequence. You will ensure that materials meet specifications and take action to fix or replace defective materials. Monitoring equipment to ensure proper operation and documenting quality and production checks are essential tasks in this role. You will have the ability to be cross-trained at multiple stations and communicate effectively with other team members while performing operator care. This position can be physically demanding. Responsibilities Load correct materials onto the production line in the correct sequence. Ensure material meets specifications. Take action to fix or replace defective materials. Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation. Document quality and production checks. Communicate well with other team members. Perform operator care. Ability to be cross-trained at multiple stations. Work Environment Work on the first shift from 6:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. The shop is non-climate controlled, meaning it isn't very cold in winter but can be warm during summer months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colfax, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
