Summary The Material Handler is responsible for the movement of material inside the facility as well as the coordination of material outside, whether it is incoming from a supplier or outgoing to a customer. It works very closely with the manufacturing departments to ensure that parts are available when needed at every stage of production. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (But not limited to…) This job includes but is not limited to the following: Material handling

• moving parts throughout the facility using pallet jacks, fork trucks, etc. Shipping
• packing and organizing parts for shipments, loading trucks, completing required paperwork, ensuring proper documentation, etc. Receiving
• unloading trucks, verifying proper documentation, etc.

Inventory and reconciliation Problem solving ability through teamwork Maintain accurate records Operates industrial forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and product. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved on daily production sheet. Attaches identifying tags or label to materials or marks information on cases, bales or other containers Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines and equipment Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand Follow the requirements of the Quality Policy, ISO/TS system, and procedures and participate in the Continuous Quality process Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions in a timely manner Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries, including wearing the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company. Position Requirements Ability to follow work instructions verbally and through visual aids provided Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others Strong work ethic and desire for personal and operations excellence Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job Ability to learn and properly apply new job-related information in a timely manner Ability to move materials using pallet jacks safely Aware of conditions or circumstances that affect one's own safety or the safety of others Forklift training preferred, or Forklift certification will be provided Requires a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills. Must be willing to embrace new technology and change. Willing to constantly seek improvement. Must possess and apply 5s methodology Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read, understand and execute written directives Must possess good math skills Must possess good mechanical skills Must maintain a good attendance record Physical Demands Must be capable of lifting 50lbs, reach and lift moderately heavy parts

• up to several hundred repetitions per shift Ability to stand on one's feet, bend, and / or twist a minimum of 8 hours per day Must be able to ascend / descend stairs Must be able to sit, walk, climb, stoop and kneel Qualifications High School/GED/ or equivalent Ability to move between machines as needed Knowledge of molds and casting process theory Skills Mechanical Ability Basic math skills Interpersonal skills Communication skills Problem solving ability
