General Laborer

Job Summary:

The general labor job duties include loading, unloading, and moving material, to ensure production flow. Reads work order and/or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Loads, unloads, and moves materials onto or from pallets, tumbler, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, hand truck and forklift. Packages and prepares product for shipping, utilizing wrapping and banding tools. Will de-burr and de-tab parts off the laser machine. May deliver finished goods to local customer locations, using company truck. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Valid driver license if delivery of product is required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Detail orientated with close attention to accuracy. Ability to read work orders. Manufacturing knowledge. Strong communication skills.
