Rare Position Summary The Storeroom Attendant
- Integrated Supply is responsible for supporting daily inventory and warehouse operations within a customer's facility.
This role involves receiving, stocking, issuing, and tracking inventory while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to identify tools and parts accurately. Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Warehouse Operations Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, and equipment. Verify shipments against purchase orders and report discrepancies or damages. Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated locations. Perform cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels. Maintain inventory records and update data in computerized systems. Prepare reports and track discrepancies for corrective action. Material Handling & Distribution Issue tools, parts, and supplies to employees and maintain proper documentation. Stock Point-of-Use (POU) areas with janitorial supplies, PPE, and small tools. Replenish vending machines with tools and safety materials. Deliver materials and equipment across the facility. Utilize pallet jacks for material movement as needed. Customer Support Serve as a point of contact for internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of requests. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Equipment & Maintenance Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear and report issues. Perform basic maintenance such as cleaning, servicing, or lubricating tools when required. Operational Support Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the storeroom. Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned. Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Active role requiring standing, walking, and frequent movement throughout the facility. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally without assistance. Work performed in a warehouse or industrial environment. Use of pallet jacks and standard warehouse equipment. Required Qualifications Minimum 3+ months of warehouse, inventory, or related experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency; ability to use Excel or similar systems to search for parts. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify tools and parts. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Preferred Qualifications Experience with inventory systems such as SAP or SX.e. Previous experience in integrated supply or storeroom operations. Familiarity with warehouse tools and material handling equipment. Additional Requirements Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Steel-toe shoes with internal metatarsal protection required.
