Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual who likes a fast-paced variety. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service. Organizing, processing, staging, loading trucks, and coordinating shipments with the dispatcher. Experience operating construction-type equipment, including forklift, skid steer, end loader, and excavator, is a plus but not required. The most important qualities center around the desire for constant improvement, pride in your work, and being a team player a must. Communication is very important!
Compensation:
$18.50 - $23.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain scale equipment to ensure accurate weight measurements for all shipments. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries and ensuring a smooth transaction process. Organize and stage materials efficiently to prepare for loading and shipment, maintaining a tidy and safe workspace. Coordinate with the dispatcher to schedule and prioritize shipments, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines. Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations, fostering a supportive and productive work environment. Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management, contributing to effective stock management and replenishment strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience in operating and maintaining scale equipment for accurate weight measurements. Ability to provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with inquiries and ensuring smooth transactions. Proven track record of organizing and staging materials efficiently for loading and shipment. Strong coordination skills to work with dispatchers for scheduling and prioritizing shipments. Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail in monitoring inventory levels and reporting discrepancies to management for effective stock management.
