Material Handler Stockroom

ETC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Material Handler - Stockroom to support our manufacturing operations in Middleton, WI. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt,anization, and distribution of materials throughout the facility. This includes maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production by pulling and delivering parts, and ensuring all stockroom processes arepleted efficiently and inpliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate isanized, safety-conscious,fortable usingputer systems, and able to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Representative Responsibilities:
  • Receives manufactured material into inventory
  • Verifies count
  • Communicates discrepancies to the planner
  • Enter work order receipts in theputer database
  • Enter miscellaneous transactions into theputer database
  • Pull work orders or inventory requests for the shop floor
  • Label parts
  • Enter issues in theputer database daily
  • Deliver parts to the appropriate area or person
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Create cycle counts
  • Participates in the cycle counting procedure
  • Participates in physical inventory created by area
  • Maintains andanizes all stocking environments
  • Ensures stocking locations are current
  • Ensures parts are clearly identified
  • Ensures parts are put away daily
  • Ensures FIFO is applied when applicable
  • Maintains a clean andanized work environment
  • Ensures parts are stocked in a manner for efficiency
  • Maintain shortages for the shop floor
  • Follows all ESD requirements
  • Runs insty pack machine when needed
  • Back up to forklift operators
  • Ads to safety standards at all times
  • Ensures that safe methods and practices are used
  • Abides by safety procedures, work practices controls, and OSHA guidelines
  • Wears personal protective equipment when required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Special projects and requests arepleted in a timely and positive fashion
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 6 - 12 months of practical work experience
  • Computer skills
  • Good oralmunication skills
  • Must be able to read andprehend English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstratedanizational skills
  • Able to operate a pallet jack
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to operate a motorized cart
  • Able to operate bar code scanners
