Job Description Position Title:
Warehouse Order Picker/Assistant Wage:
$21.50 per hourShift:
1stHours:
6:00am-2:00pm (Mon-Fri) Join a dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Order Picker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders within a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in inventory management and work in a safety-conscious setting. Warehouse Order Picker/Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves based on pick lists to accurately fulfill customer orders.
- Verify product quality and quantity, ensuring correctness before preparing items for shipment.
- Operate materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move products efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, including shelves, aisles, and storage zones, in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage, to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with loading and unloading products during the shipping and receiving process.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
Warehouse Order Picker/Assistant Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, including moving pallets, boxes, and materials.
- Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and balancing for extended periods throughout the warehouse.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments and temperature extremes.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or refrigerated warehouse environments preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work overtime or extended shifts as needed.
