Job Description

Quad is seeking an Inventory Control Material Handler to support our integrated marketing production operations. In this role, you will manage incoming and outgoing IT-related materials, components and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory levels to keep print and digital workflows running smoothly. You will receive, label, store and issue materials; perform regular cycle counts and reconciliations; investigate discrepancies; and maintain clean, safe storage areas. Working closely with operations and production teams, you'll use inventory software, scanners and basic data tools to track stock, support just in time replenishment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Receive, label and store incoming materials and components Pick, stage and issue materials to production and operations teams Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory control software Operate material handling equipment and barcode scanners safely Monitor stock levels and notify teams of replenishment needs Support just-in-time inventory and continuous improvement efforts Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe and organized Coordinate with shipping/receiving on inbound and outbound freight Follow company safety, quality and compliance procedures Required Skills Inventory management Warehouse operations Material handling Forklift or pallet jack operation Barcode scanning systems Inventory control software/ERPCycle counting and reconciliation Basic data entry and recordkeeping Safety and OSHA awareness Shipping and receiving procedures
