Job Description

2nd Shift Material Handler/Floater
REPORTS TO
Operations Manager
BASED AT
Harken, Inc.,
Pewaukee, Wisconsin STATUS:
Non-Exempt, Full Time, 2nd Shift, (4) 10 hour days Mon - Thurs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fulfill parts requests for rush work orders or sales orders in a timely manner Replenish bins with inventory from other stock locations; verifying the correct part name/number and count Accurately count all products being "added to" or "taken from" inventory Visually confirm that part being replenished or retrieved match the bin's part number Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools Demonstrate dependability, attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work Maintain a clean and orderly work area Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required High degree of accuracy with numbers Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines and goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles or time constraints Team player able to interact in a positive, constructive manner with staff members on all levels within the company Ability to use standard office equipment Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
