Job Description

Job Title:
Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Description This role focuses on shipping and receiving operations, including unloading materials, packaging products, and performing inventory tasks in a warehouse environment. You will handle general labor duties, operate forklifts, and use RF scanners to ensure accurate and efficient movement of goods. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by unloading materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Inspect incoming goods for accuracy, damage, and completeness, and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them accurately according to shipping requirements. Load finished goods and materials onto trucks or pallets using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Perform inventory work by counting, organizing, and replenishing stock to maintain accurate inventory levels. Use RF scanners to track, scan, and record product movement and inventory transactions within the warehouse. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following all safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Assist with general labor tasks such as sorting, stacking, and moving materials as needed to support warehouse operations. Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet daily shipping, receiving, and inventory targets. Essential Skills At least 1 year of recent experience working in a warehouse environment. Proven experience with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading materials. Ability to perform packing and packaging tasks accurately and efficiently. Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting. Ability to use RF scanners for tracking inventory and product movement. Strong general labor skills, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials. Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory counts and shipment documentation. Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with inventory control processes and stock organization. Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with changing priorities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and reliability, with a focus on completing tasks accurately and on time. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richfield, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
