$18.00 - $22.00 per hour (Pay is negotiable depending on experience) About Us Mountain View Solar (mtvSolar) is an MBE/DBE certified small business enterprise serving the mid-Atlantic region from our headquarters in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. As the region's longest running solar and battery storage company, we take pride in unmatched workmanship and attention to detail. Our installations run the full spectrum—residential, commercial, and municipal—with a primary service area covering the WV panhandle, Western MD, PA, and Northern VA (with occasional work outside the area). Job Summary Mountain View Solar has an immediate opening for a warehouse support role. In this position, you will support the Warehouse Manager and operations team by receiving, staging, and delivering materials and equipment. You will also assist with fleet maintenance, operate heavy equipment, and provide hands-on support to service technicians and field crews as needed. Key Responsibilities Support the Warehouse Manager and operations team with receiving, staging, and delivering materials and equipment. Load, haul, and transport materials to project sites safely using a truck and trailer. Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, tractors, and telehandlers for inventory staging and job-site support. Assist with basic fleet maintenance and staging yard upkeep. Support service technicians and installation crews on-site when extra hands are required. Utilize GPS navigation for efficient routing throughout our regional service area. Apply basic math and organizational skills to verify inventory, load weights, and delivery counts.
Qualifications & Requirements License/Certification:
Valid Driver's License (Required).
Age:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Schedule:
Must be punctual and able to start work at 6:00 AM.
Medical/Physical:
Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
Driving Experience:
Able to drive a truck with a trailer and navigate via GPS.
Equipment Experience:
Able to operate a forklift, tractor, and/or telehandler.
Personal Skills:
Self-driven, organized, possesses basic math skills, and possesses a strong team-first mindset. Experience (Preferred):
