Job Description

Summary:
Operates proper machinery to process Recycle commodities.
Qualifications:

Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Summary:
Operates proper machinery to process Recycle commodities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shreds paper using industrial shredding machine Bails paper, textiles and stuffed animals using the bailing machine. Keeps all floors and aisles free from trash and debris by picking up and sweeping the area. Sorts metal by metal type. Processes computers per the DELL Reconnect Program guidelines. Cleans machines according to PSM schedule. Bails cardboard in bailing machine as necessary.
Sorts commodities:
shoes, belts, purses, Bric/Brac as requested by vendors. Meets and/or exceeds daily goals set to support Department revenue budget. Other duties may be assigned.
