Position Summary:
This position is responsible for shipping and receiving operations consisting of pulling and analyzing samples, pumps liquid waste, liquid petroleum products waste, and other liquid waste into or from tank trucks, document processing, unloading and assisting in maintaining certain tank inventories, sampling and testing of loads.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Completes accurate document/manifest processing and ensuring accurate offloading of incoming waste to correct tanks. Operates a forklift to unload and load product in a timely and safe manner. Assists in maintaining certain tank inventories. Samples and tests of loads ensuring compatibity and treatability of waste received. Ensures all materials shipped from the facility meet specifications. Wears a respirator and a fall arrest harness to ensure safet regulations. Prepares loading/unloading equipment for repairs ensuring safety of maintenance personnel. Follows and enforces safety policies, ensuring good housekeeping at all times.
Other Functions:
Assists in the Solid waste recovery unit and Operations units as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned
