Position:
Recycling Coordinator Pay Rate:
$25.00 / hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (weekend nights as needed for events)
Requirements:
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License
  • Ability to successfully complete background and drug screenings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet monthly/annual metrics
Role Overview:
The Recycling Coordinator develops, implements, and manages recycling, waste reduction, and hazardous waste education programs for businesses, multifamily communities, and schools.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting educational presentations, classroom programs, facility tours, and community outreach.
  • Performing on-site recycling audits and providing technical assistance to reduce contamination and ensure program compliance.
  • Building partnerships with local businesses, property managers, and educational institutions.
  • Tracking program performance, conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing progress reports.
