Engineering Change Coordinator —
Romulus, MI Shift:
8:00 AM-4:30
PM Pay:
$33.75/hr Position Overview The Engineering Change Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that every step of the engineering change process—from concept through launch—is executed accurately, on time, and in alignment with both internal and external customer expectations. This position also safeguards the integrity of Bill of Materials and process routing data across active programs. Key Responsibilities Engineering Change Monitoring — Oversee systems tied to engineering changes, including BOMs and process routings. Cross-functional Coordination — Partner with Program Management to meet customer and internal deadlines. Meeting Facilitation — Schedule, organize, and document meetings; manage agendas, minutes, and follow-ups. Project Tracking — Update work plans, status reports, and other project documentation. Plex Job Updates — Maintain job records in Plex to reflect engineering changes. MP&L Communication — Ensure accurate and timely communication of changes across MP&L. Production Change Timing — Coordinate timing of changes with production teams. Inventory Management — Manage part-level bumps/exhausts to prevent obsolescence. Prioritization & Escalation — Recognize when priorities shift and escalate appropriately. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 1-5 years of manufacturing experience . 1-5 years
