WASTEWATER SUPERVISOR

The City of Chippewa Falls is accepting applications for a full-time Wastewater Supervisor. The Wastewater Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the Wastewater Utility. This position plans, organizes and directs the operation of a 4.5 MGD Advanced Grade wastewater treatment facility, 13 lift stations and the sanitary sewer collection system for the City of Chippewa Falls. Additional duties include but are not limited to issuing and reviewing permits, compiling data and reviewing reports, preparing an annual operating budget, training, evaluating and supervising employees, investigating customer complaints, and maintaining SCADA equipment.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 1-3 years of supervisory experience is preferred. Applicant must hold a valid driver's license and be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Eligible applicants must possess the following certifications and subclasses or ability to obtain each within the required timeframe: Operator Advanced (OA), Subclasses B, A1, C, D, P, L and SS. The salary range is $84,627.35 - $101,552.82 per year depending on WDNR certifications and qualifications.
