Environmental Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team working at a cutting-edge site in North Phoenix as an Environmental Technician. This role offers the chance to work in a structured environment while gaining valuable experience and skills.
Responsibilities Escort Service:
Drive a company vehicle to the work site location while a tanker truck follows, observing the loading and unloading of chemicals.
Janitorial Duties:
Perform general clean-up tasks, including taking out dry trash and replacing bins with new liners.
Move Chemicals:
Use drum dolly and pallet jacks to move 55-gallon drums, load a box truck, separate chemicals according to type, and take inventory. Essential Skills Valid driver's license GED or High School Diploma Ability to follow instructions and processes Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification (training provided if not currently certified) Experience in general labor, janitorial, cleaning, loading, and chemical handling Sweeping and use of pallet jack Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
