Job Description

Our Atherton team is looking for an experienced, accountable and community-focused leader to join our Waste department as a full-time permanent Team Leader Waste Operations. The Team Leader Waste Operations is responsible for providing effective and efficient oversight and leadership in the provision of waste and recycling services at the eight waste transfer stations, and active and closed landfills to meet the needs of the Tablelands Regional Council (TRC) community. The role ensures that operations at waste transfer stations and open and closed landfills are carried out in accordance with requirements of the Environmental Authority for the waste sites, in addition to relevant Waste Levy and Environmental Protection legislation.
