Uses Food Safety Work Practices ensuring no product are contaminated as consequences of conducting duties of this position. Report any condition or act that may place product at risk of being contaminated with foreign material. Enforce company policies (attendance, safety, food safety GMP's, etc.) procedures and regulations as indicated in the departmental Quality System. Verify that GMP's and Safety standards are always maintained and acted and/or follow-up when deficiencies are noted. Utilize waxer and buffer to keep and maintain areas that require polishing. Empty all trash and inedible containers in the proper compactor. Keep all offices in a clean and orderly condition by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing office furniture and emptying all trash containers. Notify department manager concerning any need for major repairs on equipment or safety hazard issues. Clean and polish all light fixtures, walls, sinks, paper dispensers and tables using cleaning solution, brushes, and rag cloths. Submits request for supplement supplies and cleaning equipment to the department manager. Sweep, mop, and empty all the trash from the restrooms. Clean and sanitize all the toilets, urinals, and bathrooms sinks. Maintain the locker area clean with a rag cloth. Clean all mirrors, toilet compartments, doors, and walls in the bathroom. Maintain both lunchrooms and patio area clean and free of any spills or food left behind on the table. Empty the trash cans and wipe all tables / chairs of any crumb as needed. Must be available to clean the training or conference room if necessary, without prior scheduling. Sweep and wash the facilities main entrance with the water hose and empty all trash cans and ashtray receptacles in the front and side area. Perform other duties as assigned.
