Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a vital role in cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of production areas, machines, equipment, floors, restrooms, break rooms, walls, and glass surfaces. You will also be tasked with removing rubbish and performing routine ground maintenance. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work efficiently during short periods between production shifts, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production areas, machines, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of floors, restrooms, break rooms, walls, and glass surfaces. Remove rubbish and perform routine ground maintenance. Work efficiently between production shifts. Collaborate with team members under stressful conditions. Perform varying tasks as instructed by the supervisor. Essential Skills Proficiency in cleaning and sanitation processes. Experience in food processing facilities. Ability to mix products and chemicals safely. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong attendance and positive attitude. Experience as a janitor or in production environments. Ability to work in a diverse language environment. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
