Monday-Thursday hours are 6:00 am- 4:30 pm with Friday hours varying from 6 to 10-hour shifts. Saturday hours may be scheduled due to business needs. Team Member's will be notified by plant management if schedules were to change outside of the times listed above.
Overall Purpose:
Sanitation of facilities, machines and production equipment to ensure that our products are being produced with good quality in a safe, secure and sanitary manner within the appropriate specifications outlined by company managers.
Essential Job Functions:
Regular attendance. Ability to operate sanitation equipment and tools. Prepare Sanitation Supplies/Chemicals safely and correctly. Cleaning/Sanitizing (regular wash and allergen wash) of manufacturing areas and packaging machines and equipment. Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations. Managing recycling and waste removal. Light painting/construction projects. Perform simple maintenance. Ability to learn how to use pallet jacks or forklifts. Ability to maintain acceptable standards of conduct. Ability to interact with all functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with individuals at all levels and functions. Other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or management. Knowledge/Skill/Abilities Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Great attention to detail. Ability to work overtime as needed and as required. Ability to maintain acceptable standards of conduct.
Work Environment:
Possible exposure to minor burns or cuts. Lift up to 40 - 50 pounds occasionally and 25 -30 pounds frequently. Standing for long periods of time. Ability to climb ladders and work above shoulder level. Repetitive motion. Continual use of hands to handle, control or feel objects. Continual lifting, pushing or pulling.
