About the role The Waste Process Technician I (WPT I) is an entry level position responsibletosafelyperformthe following fundamental tasks which may include the following based on individual

Business Unit:

off-loading inbound trucks, waste stream QA/QC, verify container count, manifest number and other relevant data needed for waste processing. Container sampling, recognizing non-conforming material, and processing of material through shredding operations, direct loading into solidification pit, LDI, etc. TheWPT Iis expected to have a general mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment. Specifically, via forklift, forklift attachments, hose, and valve operation.

Responsibilities:

Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements. Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power toolsin accordance withcompany policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements. Safelyoperatemobile equipment (e.g., yard dog) within the facility boundaries. Able tooff loadinbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers. Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment. Waste stream QA/QC & Lab analysis associated with receiving and shipping waste and material. Complete andsubmitall facilityassociatedpaperwork (facility receiving, piece count, material verification, manifest review, etc.) associated with regulatory and safety record keeping paperwork. General cleaning of facility and grounds.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Reworldoffers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED. 1+ year of experience Able to pass respirator fit test Ability toutilizeNetSuite Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills Demonstrate attention to detail and time management Must be able tooperatecranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds Kneeling, crawling, stooping, bending, or twisting for extended periods of time Walking and/or standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Consistently perform safely in various weather conditions and work environments.
