Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Recycling & Materials Sorting Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for sorting post-consumer paint products and preparing materials for recycling or redistribution. The ideal candidate is able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort post-consumer paint by brand, color, container size, and paint type Accurately read and interpret product labels Build and organize pallets of similar products for storage or shipment Safely stack, wrap, and secure pallets for transport Maintain productivity goals and meet daily performance standards Work independently and collaboratively with team members Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements:
Ability to lift and move 30-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting Basic reading skills for label identification and sorting accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, or material handling environments Familiarity with palletizing and shrink-wrapping processes
Work Environment:
This position involves continuous physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Work is performed in a warehouse setting. Monday - Friday 7am-3pm (paid lunch)
