STARTING PAY

$23.00 per hour + $2/hour shift premium

GENERAL SUMMARY

This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment used in production and processing to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. The position follows established sanitation procedures, handles cleaning chemicals safely, and completes required documentation. It plays a key role in maintaining hygienic conditions and supporting operational readiness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily setting up, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment for production and processing. Dilute cleaning chemicals and follow all safety precautions when using them. Clean equipment, parts, utensils, and containers during washdown and between batches. Inspect and ensure sanitary conditions have been achieved. Follow all safety regulations and PPE requirements. Complete required HACCP documentation.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED, plus some work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE

Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different types of chemicals used, their purpose, and interactions with other chemicals.
