10:45pm- 7:00am Join our team in Winnebago, IL as a Recycling Technician, responsible for processing scrap materials to support our manufacturing and recycling operations.
Recycling Technician Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain grinding equipment, including pulverizers, to efficiently process chips, curls, lineals, and reground materials for use by our compounders
- Load raw materials into grinders, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime
- Conduct routine cleaning of grinders, pulverizer bags, operating parts, and filters to ensure equipment runs effectively and to maintain safety standards
- Organize and arrange parts, materials, and equipment within the work area to promote efficiency and safety
- Measure and record the weight of scrap materials accurately for inventory and reporting purposes
- Inspect incoming customer scrap to identify and remove contaminants or undesirable parts, ensuring only quality material is processed
- Cut parts as necessary to facilitate recycling and improve processing efficiency
- Identifies and eliminates sources of contamination in scrap materials to maintain high-quality recycled products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times Requirements for

- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment related to recycling operations
- Strong attention to detail in inspecting and sorting materials
