Job Description

CW Recycling is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Street Sweeper and Water Truck Operator to support daily operations at our high-traffic recycling facility. This role is responsible for maintaining clean and dust-controlled roadways, as well as ensuring the overall cleanliness of the property—including routine trash pickup, especially along fence lines and perimeter areas. You must be able to pass an initial drug screen and random screens throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Operate street sweeper equipment to clean roadways, staging areas, and high-traffic zones throughout the facility Operate a water truck to control dust on roads, yards, and work areas Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of assigned equipment (check fluids, report issues, ensure cleanliness) Pick up trash and debris across the property, with special attention to fence lines, entrances, and perimeter areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times Follow all site safety rules, traffic patterns, and operational procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding conditions or concerns Assist with additional general labor duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience operating street sweepers, water trucks, or similar heavy equipment preferred Valid driver's license (CDL may be required depending on equipment) Ability to work in a high-traffic industrial environment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, and pick up debris and trash as needed Comfortable working around truck traffic, dust, and industrial operations
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
