Job Description

The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified, motivated applicants to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work and operate a variety of equipment in the collection of solid waste.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from High School or GED equivalent; must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire; must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience performing physical labor duties; must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed to complete a 40-hour workweek; must possess a current, valid driver's license at time of application (and maintain for duration of employment) and meet insurability standards under the fleet insurance policy; and must have, or obtain, CDL license within one (1) year of employment and maintain for duration of employment.
Starting Salary:
$17.17 per hour plus excellent benefit package.
