Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your proactive approach to sanitation will directly contribute to the quality of our operations, especially within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings. This position offers an energetic work environment where your efforts help uphold our commitment to excellence and safety. Duties Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and workspaces using industrial cleaning tools and chemicals Maintain high standards of cleanliness in food processing and manufacturing zones to meet health and safety regulations Conduct routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface disinfection in various facility areas Assist with heavy lifting of cleaning supplies, equipment, or waste materials to support efficient workflow Follow detailed sanitation procedures during shift changes and after production runs to prevent contamination Monitor and document sanitation activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards Collaborate with team members to identify areas needing special attention or additional cleaning measures Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or commercial settings preferred Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals required Background in food production, manufacturing, or food processing environments is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting techniques beneficial Demonstrated ability to follow detailed sanitation protocols and safety procedures Strong work ethic with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards Join us in creating a safe and spotless environment where quality is at the forefront!
