Saturdays Sanitation Operator Summary :
A growing food manufacturing company in Grand Rapids is looking for a dependable 3rd Shift Food Manufacturing Sanitation Technician to join their team. This company produces high-quality stone-ground, non-GMO corn chips and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment. If you have sanitation experience in a food manufacturing setting and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team.
Sanitation Operator Responsibilities:
Put on all required PPE and safety gear and perform a safety check on all equipment LOTO production equipment, cover electrical equipment with plastic, and wrap as needed Disassemble production equipment, conveyors, mixers, filler, hoppers, and other machinery, and remove guards as required Manually pull, scrap, wipe, shovel, and dump waste from equipment and place waste materials in required areas Scrub machinery, tools, and equipment with brushes and rinse with pressure water hose and apply sanitizer as many times as needed/required
Sanitation Operator Qualifications:
Must have 1-2 years of experience in food processing/Sanitation Knows what
GMP & SQF
quality standards Read, write, and effectively communicate in English Basic math/calculations Lock out/tag out !
