Job Summary:

The Seasonal Sanitation Technician has the primary responsibility for the daily cleaning and sanitation of the facilities to assure that all the buildings, equipment and utensils are ready to be used during production shifts and comply with our quality systems standards, SSOPs, as well as FDA, customer, and other regulatory requirements.

Shift Essential Job Functions:

Able to clean two or more zones on each line effectively. Completes cleaning in trained zone within 3-4 hours. Able to clean trained zones with no supervision. Ability to complete and sign-off on all SSOPs associated with trained zones. Licensed, proficient fork truck operator. Licensed, proficient scissor lift operator Proficient in GMP's and be attentive of potential GMPs violations across the production floor and reporting them to the sanitation foreman. Regular Attendance Responsible for cross-department job-sharing in areas such as: production; quality; warehouse, tank-yard; and rework. All other duties as assigned.

Experience:

High school diploma.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

With good reasoning and sound judgment abilities. Mature, enthusiastic, motivated team member. Pay attention to detail. Excellent work ethic with proven ability to effectively balance multiple priorities. Creative problem-solving skills and an orientation towards fulfill the tasks in a timely manner. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Capable to perform on daily basis: Work third shift Work on the production floor, Bend and climb stairs. Stay in their feet for longer periods of time, Physically capable to manage an industrial hose, scrub, and lift up to 50lb, Not afraid to heights or confined spaces. Work with water and chemicals. Work in a fast pace environment.
