Environmental Technician 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Kansas City, MO 64119 MPS Group, Inc. 165 reviews MPS Group, Inc., is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our team at the Kansas City Assembly Plant located in Kansas City, MO . This individual will be responsible for handling scrap metal at the plant.

Shift Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Load semi-trailers and roll-off boxes for shipment to recycling centers and any other disposal site. Document and inform Resource Manager of any contamination in plant's recycling and waste containers. Operate fork truck to load/unload trucks, etc. Follow all plant-related safety guidelines. Responsible for additional duties assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience handling/disposing of plastic and recycling. Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education. Ability to read and understand basic equipment operating instructions, safe work protocols and adhere to the personal protection requirements of the assigned job. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to pass a drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of one year in an industrial, manufacturing or waste management setting. Minimum of three years Fork Truck Operator.
