The Sanitation Worker is an integral member of the Freshouse Team and key to the Freshouse Experience. As a Sanitation Worker, you will reflect the values of a model warehouse employee and member of the Freshouse team. Your primary job duty is to help ensure that the facility is audit ready at all times. This is accomplished by cleaning, scrubbing, and sanitizing all equipment, machinery, conveyors, bins, drains, and trashcans as directed by the Food Safety department management team. Other duties customary to Sanitation Workers may be assigned.Essential Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of facility sanitation on assigned shift. This includes cleaning, scrubbing, and sanitizing all equipment, machinery, conveyors, bins, drains, and trashcans. Actively assists the Food Safety and Sanitation management team in the completion of assigned job duties. Assists the Food Safety and Sanitation management team in insuring that the facility is audit-ready at all times. Regularly monitor and clean employee facilities such as restrooms, break areas and offices. Ensure that all glove, apron, hairnet, soap, hand sanitizer and paper towel dispensers are stocked. Must keep all sanitation storage areas locked and secured when not in use. Ensures all areas of production, dock and coolers are free of debris and standing water by sweeping and mopping. Takes direction from Sanitation Supervisor and Leads to resolve sanitation related issues. May be required to operate machinery such as a floor scrubber or forklift. Demonstrates the ability to complete all sanitation logs accurately. Responsible for keeping outside grounds and parking lot clean. Must have the ability to work well in teams as well as the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision when necessary Communicates to the Food Safety and Sanitation Manager regarding issues that may arise.
