Job Description
Feed Mill Sanitation Technician Pay:
$21.65 per hourShift & Working Hours:
1 Shift; 6:00 AM to _2:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing sanitation activities to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You'll be responsible for cleaning and continual upkeep of the buildings, facilities, and grounds. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. - Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
- Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
- Follows all good manufacturing practices, quality, production, training, and sanitation standards as well of standard operating procedures on tasks
- Able to multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Skills:
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year of manufacturing and/or industrial sanitation work experience
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds in repetition
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment including but not limited to, respirators and fall protection
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
- Comfortable working from heights exceeding 50ft and in confined spaces.
