Job Overview As a Recycling Line Processor at our Jamestown recycling center, you will play a vital role in our material recovery process. Stationed at a conveyor line, you will identify and separate specific recyclable materials, such as cardboard, aluminum cans, paper products, and other designated items, depositing them into the correct collection points to ensure efficient sorting and processing. Responsibilities Monitor the conveyor line and sort recyclable materials with accuracy and speed. Work efficiently to ensure the smooth flow of materials on the sort line. Separate materials like cardboard, aluminum, and paper into designated bins following provided guidelines. Keep the sorting area clean and comply with all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements No experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided. Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks with precision. Strong attention to detail for identifying specific recyclable materials. Dependability and punctuality to support the recycling center's operations.
