About the
Role:
The Stationary Cleaning Associate plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a designated facility or area. This position ensures that all stationary equipment, workspaces, and surrounding environments are kept clean, organized, and safe for employees and visitors. The associate will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. By consistently maintaining a clean environment, the associate contributes to the overall operational efficiency and positive image of the organization. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to health and safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to report issues and coordinate with team members. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role. Familiarity with industrial or commercial cleaning products and equipment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation. Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of stationary equipment and work areas according to established schedules and procedures. Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment. Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities to the appropriate personnel. Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe workplace.
