Job Description

Sanitation Shift & Working Hours:
( CREW-3)5:00 PM to 5:00 AM; 2-2-3 Rotating-Shift Schedule (every other weekend off)
Pay:
E ffective April 05, 2026, this role has a payrate of $25.95 per hour ($2.00 Shift Differential)
Role Focus:
The Sanitation Technician performs sanitation job duties following the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). This position is responsible for the environmental sanitation and some pest control within and surrounding the plant. Also included is general housekeeping duties such as collecting trash within the plant, mopping, sweeping, dusting and vacuuming; in addition to, cleaning and sanitizing other areas as required. The Sanitation Technician manages inventory for chemicals, GMP supplies, and cleaning supplies. This position requires the ability to work with and around chemicals. Training will be provided for the following equipment: pallet jacks, hand lifts, man or scissor lift, and/or forklifts. In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing housekeeping to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You'll be responsible for cleaning and continual upkeep of the buildings, facilities, and grounds. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. Required Qualifications & Experiences:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 6+ months of work experience in any industry
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
  • Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Preferred Qualifications & Experiences:
  • 1+ year of manufacturing or cleaning work experience Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
  • Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with Corrosive Chemicals
  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
