$18.00 - $21.00 per hour (depending on experience) Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented High Solids Technician to join our water transfer plant operations for the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining solids control equipment, including centrifuges and high-pressure pumps. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience in industrial water transfer or fluid management, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient work environment during overnight operations.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation:
Monitor, adjust, and operate high solids control systems, centrifuges, and industrial pumps to ensure optimal processing and fluid separation.
Routine Maintenance:
Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on pumps, centrifuges, and auxiliary equipment.
Material Handling:
Safely load, unload, and move materials or waste solids across the facility.
System Monitoring:
Regularly check gauges, flow rates, and fluid levels to ensure system performance aligns with plant safety and environmental standards.
Documentation:
Accurately log hourly readings, maintenance activities, and shift handover reports to ensure seamless communication with the day shift.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, environmental regulations, and OSHA guidelines. Keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Proven experience working with industrial pumps , centrifuges , and solids control equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues independently . Ability to work a consistent night shift and handle the physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors in various weather conditions). Solid communication skills and a reliable track record of attendance. Preferred (A Plus): Experience operating a Telehandler . Experience operating a Skid-steer . Previous experience in water transfer, environmental services, or oilfield fluid management. Benefits & Work Environment Competitive hourly wage ($18.00 - $21.00/hr). Consistent night shift schedule.
