https://www.netacare.org What You'll Do As an Environmental Services Technician II, you will play a key role in maintaining facility cleanliness, supporting sanitation protocols, and helping ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
Dismantle, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment and machinery. Clean and sanitize production rooms and facility workspaces. Inspect work areas for cleanliness and accurately complete required documentation. Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and supplies while ensuring proper labeling and compliance. Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks, including: Sweeping, mopping, and floor care Vacuuming carpets and rugs Cleaning windows and surfaces Emptying trash and recycling containers Replacing liners and maintaining waste collection areas Clean and disinfect restrooms and common areas. Report facility maintenance concerns and repair requests to Facilities Management. Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as new chemicals are introduced. Operate equipment used for cannabis waste disposal, when required. Follow all company safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED equivalent Valid government-issued photo identification Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of custodial, janitorial, sanitation, or environmental services experience Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and chemical handling Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) and sanitation best practices Strong organizational and time management skills Experience working in manufacturing, cultivation, food production, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments is a plus Physical Requirements This position requires frequent physical activity and movement throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for extended periods Ability to work safely in confined spaces or around production equipment Ability to navigate uneven terrain when necessary Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions What We Offer We believe in investing in our employees and supporting their growth both professionally and personally.
