Job Description

The Sanitation Team Member is part of a group responsible for establishing and maintaining all receiving, processing, packaging, and warehouse areas in a clean and orderly condition. This position is for the day shift (6am- 3pm), Monday-Friday (occasionally weekends may be required with advance notice)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean all areas as identified on Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS)/frequencies and record completion. Clean critical hygiene areas including boot sanitizing stations daily. Check soap and sanitizer dispensers and fill as needed. Re-stock hygienic garments Empty waste bins daily and transports trash and waste to disposal area. All areas should be maintained in an orderly manner, free of product spills. Maintain plant grounds-free of debris, stagnant water, and product spills as required. Clean and empty all cyclones/containers, dump feed in designated area/location Adhere to the Lone Star health and safety policies and contribute to its improvements Sweep, scrub floors & pipes/equipment, and clean drains during unusual occurrences or events. Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
A strong communicator and ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral instructions. Good organizational ability Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Proven ability to work with their own initiative and within a team Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
Employment Requirements:
Must pass a drug screening Must be able to follow all safety policies and attend safety training Applicant must be able to work 8 hour shifts Tuesday - Saturday Must complete a pre-employment physical Must pass a background check Must have reliable transportation General math, reading, and writing skills Dependable High School diploma or equivalent Please apply online to this posting by submitting your updated resume.
