Essential Duties:

Perform a wide variety of public works tasks, including street maintenance, grounds keeping, equipment operation, water and wastewater system maintenance and repair, and facility maintenance. Respond to emergency callouts as needed. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, dust, and uneven terrain. Position requires frequent lifting, bending, climbing, digging, walking, and other physical labor. Must be willing and able to perform a variety of tasks as assigned and adapt to changing daily priorities

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Valid Texas driver's license required. High school diploma or equivalency. Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Public Works, water/wastewater system, road work or landscaping experience. Experience operating heavy equipment
