Job Summary:
Perform sanitation and cleaning procedures as required to fulfill tasks outlined in Plant Sanitation Plan. Other duties may be assigned as required. Follow outlined duties as assigned in daily sanitation schedules and Master Sanitation Schedule. Follow sanitation procedures as assigned during downtime clean-ups. Clear snow from walkways and driveways as needed. Perform tasks as assigned during weekend and/or specially scheduled clean-ups. Accomplish other related work as required. Comply with all safety regulations and follows safe methods in sanitation and chemical usages. Reports all accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to shift superintendent. Maintains any logs as required.

EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent; or up to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate in English commensurate with the requirements of this position.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to use various sanitation equipment and tools. Will be required to be qualified to operate forklift, genie lift, and scissor lift.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally tandem lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently have to climb stairs throughout the shift.
