Job Description
SEA-KO is looking for Environmental Services Technician Join our dedicated Environmental Services team as an Environmental Services Worker at SEA-KO in SEATAC Airport, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring sanitation standards are met through thorough cleaning, disinfecting, and waste management practices.
Duties Food-Contact Surfaces:
Wash, rinse, and sanitize prep tables, cutting boards, and slicers after every use and before switching food types.Cooking Equipment:
Degrease grills, griddles, ranges, and fryers; empty and clean drip trays daily. Sweep, mop, auto-scrub, burnish, and perform other floor-care duties Clean glass, stainless steel, and high-touch surfaces Empty trash and recycling containers Restock cleaning supplies Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely Follow SEATAC security procedures, safety requirements, and OSHA standards Report maintenance, security, and safety concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and quality standards throughout the shift Complete additional cleaning assignments as directed Schedule Full-time available only (WEREQUIRE STRICT ADHERENCE TO THE SCHEDULES THAT IS AGREED UPON.

8:30pm - 12:30am Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare facilities or similar environments is highly preferred. SEATAC experience preferred. Must pass SEA-TAC mandated background check and badge processing. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to chemical handling, safety procedures, and infection control standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices. Must successfully pass a TSA background check and airport security training. Must provide valid government-issued ID, Social Security card or work authorization documents, Food Worker Card, and any required hiring documentation Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor care machines, vacuums, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
