Duties Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly, ensuring presentation standards are upheld. Assist servers by refilling beverages, delivering condiments, and responding to guest requests with professionalism. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing dishes and assisting with plating under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and kitchen surroundings in compliance with food safety standards. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with check settlements when required. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and special events like banquets. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key! Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards ensures confidence in maintaining hygiene protocols. Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency in guest service transactions. Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle large groups with professionalism. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and providing excellent guest service. Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes and supporting kitchen staff.
